New exhibition in Budapest!

Once there was the Északi ... the story continues

The Transport Museum’s popular exhibition ’Once there was the Északi…the story goes on’ that relates the history of the museum’s new site, the Northern Maintenance Depot, is open again till September 30, 2022.

The exhibition tells the story of the country’s once largest railway workshop through locomotives maintained in the Depot, railway vehicle models, photos and posters.

Our exhibition has numerous surprises in store for visitors: besides the well-liked railway vehicles, the treasures of the Transport Museum’s collection, among others, a Ford-T model, the rear-engined Ikarus bus or the GAZ-12 ZIM are also on display.
